Velux Flashing Systems
Flashing is a crucial part of Velux’s complete system. VELUX flashing systems are designed to shed water without relying on sealants that can break down over time. Note: Flashing systems are not required for pan-flashed skylights or SUN TUNNEL™ skylights.
The Solar Powered Velux "Fresh Air" Skylight
The Solar Powered "Fresh Air" skylight features a solar panel that captures any available daylight and uses it to recharge a highly efficient, fully concealed, battery powered operator and control system. This product is backed with Velux’s No Leak Warranty. Velux flashing required.
Velux "No Leak" Skylights
Velux No Leak Skylights are available in deck and now curb mounted. It carries the new 10-year installation warranty plus 20 years on glass, 10 years on product, and five years on blinds and controls. Features include 3 layers of water protection, money-saving pre-finished white frames and sashes, pre-mounted brackets for quick installation of sunscreen blinds, lower roof profile with an updated curved architectural design, and a neutral gray color to blend with most roof materials and colors.
Velux Roof Windows
VELUX roof windows are designed for in-reach applications that require egress emergency escape capabilities. Examples include above-garage bonus rooms, lofts, and finished attic spaces. Note: Roof windows are not designed to be used in combination with skylights.
